AnavoSports is a start-up business in the Adelaide Hills with its primary goal of working towards a better future by promoting and selling ethical and sustainable street and sports wear.

 

Waste is accumulating; it is becoming a problem. During the last two decades, waste has been increasing without the world being overly concerned about the impact it will have. During the pandemic, I read Bill Gates book, How to Avoid a Climate Disaster. Since then, those words of urgency kicked my plan into action.

From the uncertain year of 2021, AnavoSports was assembled – to ignite turmoil in the fashion industry. AnavoSports’ goal is to ignite a change in today’s overwhelming world of consumerism. Anávo is derived from the Greek word to ignite – to ignite a positive change. “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new,” – Socrates. AnavoSports believes a that the most productive outcome is a sustainable integration into the sporting industry.

AnavoSports realises it is unrealistic to eliminate every unsustainable process at once, but we assure you that we are constructing many sustainable pathways ahead of us. Our goal is to inspire the world to transition forward to a sustainable future, and our company’s mission is to incite a change in the current way people buy clothing. We are here to provide an easy and efficient way to work towards this goal and buy sustainable clothing in Australia.
